The Ann and Joe O. Neuhoff School of Ministry at the University of Dallas, in Irving, Texas, seeks applicants for a full time, tenure track faculty position as ASSISTANT PROFESSOR in Practical Theology.

Qualified applicants are expected to hold a terminal degree in practical theology, ministry or related field by the time of appointment.. A thorough knowledge of and appreciation for Catholic theological tradition and pastoral practice, including contemporary theology and practice of ministry, is essential. Successful applicants should have significant experience in teaching adults and undergraduates, a record of research and active research plan, significant pastoral experience in a Catholic setting and a demonstrated record of success in ministerial formation. Applicants with successful experience in cross-cultural ministry and proficiency in Spanish are desirable. Teaching competency in another related field of theological and ministerial studies such as pastoral care and counseling, Catholic social teaching, ministerial ethics, intercultural ministry, etc., is highly preferred. Experience with online teaching is also desirable.
