Pfeiffer University is seeking to fill the position of Program Director for its Masters of Arts in Practical Theology. The Practical Theology degree at Pfeiffer prepares students for professional service to the church, and in the church-related non-profit world. Concentrations in the degree include Pastoral Care and Counseling, Christian Education, Age Related Ministry, Missions/Evangelism, and Leadership/Church Administration. Responsibilities include recruiting for the program, networking ecumenically with churches and nonprofits in the Charlotte area, course advising, managing curriculum, overseeing the Wesley Deacon Studies Center, as well as teaching 3 courses total per year on the Charlotte and Misenheimer campuses. Some nights, weekends, and travel are required of this position.
The Program Director reports to the Dean of the Division of Arts and Sciences. This is a twelve month position.
