Over the next year, this blog will have a lot of information about the next Biennial Meeting of the Association of Practical Theology. That conference will be held at Fordham University in New York City from 8-10 April of 2016. (Mark your calendars!)
As a way of whetting our collective appetites for the conference, I will occasionally be posting items here that I hope will be of interest about New York culture that connect more or less broadly to practical theology. Here is a recent item on botanicas in the South Bronx, from the excellent blog Welcome2TheBronx. Practical theologians who write on matters of poverty, interreligious practice, healing, and such might find it interesting.
