On the "Nones" and Theological Education

On “the nones” and theological education: How is your institution welcoming the unaffiliated, and teaching students to engage, welcome and learn from unaffiliated/disaffiliated people, especially younger generations?
Samuel G. Freedman reported in the NYT a few months ago on “Secular, but Feeling a Call to Divinity School.” And the recent issue of Boston College’s “C21 Resources” included an article by Michael Paulson titled “Even as US Hispanics Lift Catholicism, Many are Leaving the Church Behind.”
What does the character of that welcome for unaffiliated/nonreligious people portend for theological education in your setting … and for our work in practical theology?
(And I don’t presume that institutions of theological education are not already populated by people who self-identify as ‘nones’ among students/faculty/ministers! Quite the opposite, actually.)
