Job Opening: Chaplain Resident and Instructor of Religious Studies, Westminster College

Westminster College is seeking a someone to fill the position of Chaplain Resident & Instructor of Religious Studies. The Chaplain Resident will serve as a member of the Center for Faith & Service staff, offering a ministry of pastoral care and spiritual support for students, faculty, and staff. In addition, they will oversee community engagement initiatives as well as other areas of focus determined in conversation with the Chaplain and Director of the Center for Faith & Service. The Chaplain Resident will serve on the faculty as an instructor of Religious Studies, teaching at least two undergraduate Religious Studies courses during their tenure at Westminster. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to service, a passion for mentoring and journeying with 18 to 22 year old college students, and a deeply rooted commitment to faith. Because of the diversity of the Westminster campus, we seek someone with a welcoming, inclusive theological paradigm who thrives in an interfaith environment. The ideal candidate demonstrates an enthusiastic interest in exploring ministry within the context of higher education.
